Vahan.ai and Sunlight Manpower Join Forces to Transform Recruitment with AI Technology, ETManufacturing

Vahan.ai, an artificial intelligence-based recruitment platform for blue-collar and gig workers, on Tuesday announced a strategic partnership with Sunlight Manpower Services to scale hiring across logistics, gig and industrial sectors.

The agreement, signed on January 10, aims to combine Vahan.ai’s demand aggregation and AI screening tools with Sunlight Manpower’s on-ground recruitment operations to enable large-scale placements across multiple regions.

Under the collaboration, Sunlight Manpower will be integrated into Vahan.ai’s national hiring network, allowing it to access employer demand from sectors such as delivery, warehousing, manufacturing and mobility. The companies said the model is designed to improve recruiter productivity and reduce dependence on fragmented client acquisition.

Sunlight Manpower currently recruits more than 6,000 workers across over 20 cities and towns. Vahan.ai said it has facilitated more than 1 million job placements across 920 cities, working with employers in quick commerce, food delivery, and logistics.

Abhishek Chaturvedi, vice president at Vahan.ai, said the company was looking to build a partner-led recruitment ecosystem that blends technology with local execution capabilities. “Sunlight Manpower brings deep operational experience, and together we aim to expand access to reliable work across sectors,” he said.

A director at Sunlight Manpower said the platform would help improve screening and onboarding timelines, enabling the firm to serve clients more efficiently.

Vahan.ai has been expanding beyond gig roles into manufacturing and industrial employment. The company has raised capital from investors, including Lemmatree, Persol Group, and Khosla Ventures, to strengthen its technology stack and expand its sector coverage. The company said it is in discussions with additional agencies to develop the network further.
