Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Company Secretary: Must have passed final examination of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and shall hold the Membership of the said Institute. Must have minimum of Five years’ experience as Company Secretary in a Company having minimum paid capital of Rs 50 Crore or more.
- Assistant Town Planner: Degree in Architecture (5 years full time course) with minimum 60% marks and Post Graduation in Town Planning from recognized University.
- Programmer: B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering or Electronics and Communications or M.C.A. from a recognized University OR ME/M.Tech degree in Information Technology or Computer Science/Engineering or Electronics and Communications from a recognized University OR B.Com with minimum 60% Marks from recognized university WITH Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT/DOEACC “O” Level/COPA/DPCS/Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Applications/Information Technology).
- Assistant Accounts Officer Grade-II: Degree/Diploma/Certificate of CA/CMA from the institute of ICAI/ICMAI from a recognized university OR B.Com with minimum 60% Marks from recognized university WITH Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT/DOEACC “O” Level or Higher/COPA/DPCS certificate/Diploma in Computer Science).
- Junior Legal Officer: Law graduate (Professional Degree) from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks or LL.M. from a recognized university.
- Personal Assistant Grade-II: Senior Secondary from a recognized Board or its equivalent examination AND Higher Level Certificate Course conducted by DOEACC under control of the Department of Electronics, Government of India OR Certificate Course on computer concept by NIELIT, New Delhi OR Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)/Data Preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) certificate OR Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Computer Science/Computer applications OR Senior Secondary Certificate with Computer Science/Computer Application as one of the subjects OR Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a polytechnic institution OR RSCIT OR Any equivalent or higher qualification.

Salary/Stipend
Appointment of selected candidates will be made for Probation Period for an initial period of two years. A fixed remuneration shall be payable to such candidates during the probation period:
- Company Secretary: Level-16, Rs.4,7200/- per month (Fixed Remuneration during probation)
- Assistant Town Planner: Level-14, Rs.3,9300/- per month (Fixed Remuneration during probation)
- Programmer: Level-12, Rs.3,1100/- per month (Fixed Remuneration during probation)
- Assistant Accounts Officer Grade-II: Level-11, Rs.2,6500/- per month (Fixed Remuneration during probation)
- Junior Legal Officer: Level-10, Rs.2,3700/- per month (Fixed Remuneration during probation)
- Personal Assistant Grade-II: Level-10, Rs.2,3700/- per month (Fixed Remuneration during probation)
- Draughtsman-cum-Tracer (Civil): Level-8, Rs.1,8500/- per month (Fixed Remuneration during probation)
- Junior Assistant: Level-5, Rs.1,4600/- per month (Fixed Remuneration during probation)
Note: On successful completion of Probation Period, the salary shall be payable in regular Pay-Matrix. The regular salary with other allowances shall be paid, as per rules.
Age Limit (as on 20/02/2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: Less than 40 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS Male Candidates of Rajasthan State: 5 years relaxation
- General Category Women Candidates: 5 years relaxation
- SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS Women Candidates of Rajasthan State: 10 years relaxation
- Differently Abled Persons: Additional 5 years relaxation beyond the above-mentioned relaxations
- Widow and Divorcee: No upper age limit, but at the time of appointment, their age should be less than the age of superannuation fixed by RIICO
Note: The provisions for relaxation in upper age limit are non-cumulative i.e. the benefit of any one provision shall be given for relaxation in upper age limit.
Application Fee
Special Note:
- Candidates of SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS of a State other than Rajasthan/Union Territories shall be treated as a candidate of General category and are liable to pay the examination fee as fixed for the General category candidates.
- According to Circular dated 02.05.2018, the candidate’s fee for candidates of all categories whose annual income of family is less than Rs.2.50 lakhs shall be payable same as of the candidates of SC/ST.

- Selection of the candidates shall be made through a competitive examination conducted online.
- The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks secured in the examination.
- All questions in written examination paper shall be objective type.

Note:
- Only those candidates who have obtained minimum qualifying marks shall be eligible for appearing in the proficiency test.
- Maximum five times of candidates of respective vacancies of the posts shall be called for appearing in the proficiency test.
- For Company Secretary post, candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for an interview. The number of candidates called for the interview will be five times the number of advertised vacancies.
General Information/Instructions
Reservation Policy:
- 5% reservation shall be admissible to More Backward Class (non-creamy layer) belonging to State of Rajasthan.
- 10% reservation shall be admissible to Economically Weaker Section of the State of Rajasthan.
- Horizontal reservation of vacancies for women shall be 30% category-wise.
- Out of the 30% reserved posts for women, 8% posts are reserved for widows and 2% for divorced women.
- 2% reservation for Outstanding Sports Person (horizontal reservation).
- Reservation for specially abled persons is also horizontal reservation.
Important Points:
- The benefit of reserved posts of SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS is only admissible to bonafide residents of the State of Rajasthan.
- Candidates of SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS of a State other than Rajasthan State/Union Territories shall be treated as candidates of General category.
- According to judgment by Supreme Court and Rajasthan High Court, a woman of a State other than Rajasthan State who becomes bonafide resident of Rajasthan State after marriage, the benefit of reservation in SC/ST/OBC/MBC category shall not be allowed to her for public employment.
- Married female candidates of BC/MBC are required to submit certificate on the basis of father’s name, residence and income. Certificate on the basis of husband shall not be valid.
- No candidate having more than two children on or after 01.04.2007 shall be eligible for appointment to the service.
- Registration of marriage has been made compulsory for appointment in the services of state from 22.01.2006.
- The candidate who smokes and/or consumes gutkha will not be eligible for appointment.
Special Instructions:
- Candidates should fill the online application carefully. No change will be possible after clicking “Complete Registration” button.
- Prior to filling online application, candidates must go through the detailed advertisement and service rules.
- Candidates are required to upload Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression and Handwritten Declaration as per guidelines.
- Mobile phone, Bluetooth, calculator, smart watch and any other electronic/communication devices are not permitted in examination hall.
- Call letters shall be uploaded on the website www.riico.rajasthan.gov.in and no call letter will be sent by post.
- Result of examination shall be communicated by uploading on the authorized website.
- No travelling allowance/meal allowance shall be payable to candidates.
How to Apply
- Candidates may visit the website www.riico.rajasthan.gov.in and click on the option “Apply Online”.
- To register the application, select the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter the name, contact details and email-id.
- A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and sent through email and SMS.
- Candidates can save the data by selecting “SAVE & NEXT” tab and can complete it later.
- Before completing the registration, candidates should click on the Preview tab to preview and verify the entire application form.
- After verifying all details, click on ‘Complete Registration’.
- Click on the ‘Payment’ tab and proceed for payment through online mode (Credit/Debit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets).
- After successful payment, an e-receipt will be generated. Take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form.
- Candidates should upload:
- Recent colour photograph (maximum one month old) – Size: 20-50 KB, Dimensions: 200 x 230 Pixels
- Signature (scanned) – Size: 10-20 KB, Dimensions: 140 x 60 Pixels
- Left thumb impression – Size: 20-50 KB, Dimensions: 240 x 240 pixels
- Handwritten declaration – Size: 50-100 KB, Dimensions: 800 x 400 pixels
- Live photograph using webcam or mobile phone
- All documents should be in JPG/JPEG format only.

Note:
- Candidates should submit their online application in the prescribed time without waiting for the last date.
