Abbreviations: Gen-General, EWS-General Economical Weaker Section, SC-Scheduled Castes, M/B-Mazhbi/Balmiki, R/O-Ramdasia/Other, ESM-Ex-Serviceman, BC-Backward Classes, PWD-Person with Disability, M-Male, F-Female.
Eligibility Criteria
- Staff Nurse: (i) Must have passed Senior Secondary Part-II Examination or its equivalent from a recognized University or institution; (ii) Must possess a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized university or institution; and (iii) Must be registered with the Punjab Nursing Registration Council, established under the Punjab Nurses Registration Act, 1932.
- Medical Lab Technician: Must have passed Senior Secondary Part-II Examination with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institution and should possess a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology of two years duration from a recognized university or Institution; OR should have obtained a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology of three year duration from a recognized University or Institution after passing Matriculation with science examination followed by one year work experience after Diploma; OR should possess a degree of B.Sc (MLT) from a recognized university or institution. (Preference may be given to candidates with a B.Sc MLT degree.)
- Operation Theatre Assistant: Must have passed Senior Secondary Part-II Examination with Science or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institution; and (ii) must possess a Diploma in Operation Theatre Technique from a recognized university or institution.
- All candidates must have passed Punjabi up to Matric standard (as per Condition 2 of the notification).
