Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) – 1 position
Job Details:
- Project: “CardioWatch-India: Safeguarding Young Hearts Through Early Multi-Biomarker Precision Diagnostics for Myocardial Infarction and Cardiovascular Disease”.
- Investigators: Arockiasamy Arulandu, Ranjan Nanda and Anmol Chandele.
- Collaborating Institutions: AIIMS-New Delhi, Govt. Rajaji Hospital-Madurai, Velammal Medical College Hospital and Research Institute-Madurai, and Madurai Kamaraj University-Madurai.
- Project Duration: 2 years. The appointment will initially be for 3–6 months and will be extended based on performance.
- Position: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
- Emoluments as per ICMR: ₹ 56000 Rs + 30% HRA = ₹ 72,800/month
- Qualifications: MSc and/or PhD in Life Sciences or Chemistry or a related discipline.
Prior experience required:
- Proven expertise in clinical sample preparation for high-resolution LC–MS workflows.
- Hands-on experience/expertise in processing, analysis, and biological interpretation of untargeted metabolomics and lipidomic datasets using proprietary and freely available software tools such as MetaboAnalyst, MS-DIAL, LipidXplorer, OpenMS and or related platforms.
- Individuals with additional ICP-MS data acquisition and analysis capability will be preferred but not mandatory.
