Project Title: Heterologous expression and functional validation of D-Allulose 3-Epimerase in Bacillus subtilis
Age Limit: 35 years

Qualifications Required

Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Genetics/Life Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent
Desirable Qualification: Master’s degree in Microbiology with practical experience in molecular biology methods. Prior hands-on experience in cloning, protein expression, and purification is highly preferred.

Job Requirements: To carry out the R&D work as assigned

Stipend & HRA

RS.31,000/- plus HRA for candidates who have qualified National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET, GATE etc.)
Rs.25,000/- plus HRA to other.

The short-listed candidates will be informed about the date of interview through e-mail to the email address mentioned by the candidate in the online application form. No interim enquiry or correspondence will be entertained.
Candidates should not have exceeded 35 years of age as on the last date of receiving the applications i.e. 14.05.2026.
Only those candidates who have already acquired the essential qualification & their results have been declared are eligible to apply.
The period of experience in a discipline / area of work, wherever prescribed, shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualifications prescribed for that post.
The applicants will be subjected to shortlisting by a designated committee according to the current requirement, and the candidates shortlisted for an interview will be displayed on the CSIR-CFTRI website. No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.
Selection for engagement, panel of waitlisted candidates, and its validity will be as per CSIR rules.
Relaxation in age limit for candidates belonging to the category of SC/ST/PwBD/Women and the category of OBC shall be 05 years and 03 years respectively.
