Fresh FIR filed against Pooja Naik in cash-for-job scam, says CM Sawant

Digital Goa, Nov 12 – CM Pramod Sawant today said that a fresh FIR has been registered against cash-for-government-job scam accused Pooja Naik after her newly made revelations. “In her earlier case she had not disclosed that she had taken money from these many people,” said Sawant, adding that in view of this, a fresh FIR has been filed and the Crime Branch is investigating the case. Pooja has alleged that she collected over ₹17.68 crore from 613 government job aspirants and handed over the money in cash to an IAS officer and a PWD officer. She further claimed that a Minister currently in Pramod Sawant’s Cabinet, who was also a minister in 2012-13, is involved in the scam.
