Andhra Pradesh CM appeals to Non

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu appealed to Non-Resident Telugu (NRT) people to move beyond jobs and become job creators by turning into entrepreneurs. Addressing the Telugu diaspora in Zurich, he said the state government has created a 50 crore rupee corpus fund to support NRT entrepreneurs. He added that mentoring and guidance will be provided through the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub.

Inviting NRTs to invest in Andhra Pradesh, the Chief Minister assured full government support to help them succeed as entrepreneurs. He said the government is also supporting students going abroad for higher education by providing education loans at four per cent interest, with the state standing as guarantor. Mr Naidu announced that AP FIRST, the state’s biggest research and innovation centre, will be set up in Tirupati to promote innovation, creativity and employment for youth.

He expressed confidence that India will become the world’s number one country by 2047 and said Andhra Pradesh must lead within the nation. The Chief Minister said Andhra Pradesh is currently attracting 25 per cent of total investments in the country. Efforts are underway to attract ₹22 lakh crore in investments to create jobs for 20 lakh youth.

He said the government is focusing on advanced technologies such as Quantum computing, Artificial Intelligence, Space and Drone sectors. At the same time, priority is being given to healthcare, with the Sanjeevani health programme to be introduced across the state. Indian Ambassador to Switzerland Mridul Kumar, Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu, Ministers Nara Lokesh and TG Bharath, and APNRT Society President Vemuri Ravi Kumar were present.
