The Australian state of Victoria said on Wednesday, March 4, it will launch legislation to give employees the legal right to work from home two days per week.
The laws, that are due to come into effect on September 1, will allow anyone with the ability to work from home to do so, regardless of the size of their workplace.
“Work from home works for families, because it saves time and money and it gets more parents working,” Victoria Premier Jacinta Allan said in a statement.
