Role Overview
The Research Associate III will be responsible for designing and developing advanced tetrahedral DNA nanostructure (TDN)-based biosensing interfaces. The role focuses on ultrasensitive detection of microRNA biomarkers (miR-155) in biological samples, integrating nanobiotechnology, electrochemistry, and molecular diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, synthesize, and functionalize tetrahedral DNA nanostructures (TDNs)
- Engineer programmable biosensing platforms for nucleic acid detection
- Develop and optimize electrochemical biosensing strategies
- Perform surface modification, biofunctionalization, and signal amplification
- Validate biosensing platforms using biological samples (serum, plasma, cell-derived samples)
- Utilize advanced characterization techniques such as CV, EIS, DPV, AFM, DLS, SEM/TEM, and fluorescence spectroscopy
- Analyze experimental data and prepare scientific reports
- Contribute to research publications and project deliverables
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and academic/clinical partners

Educational Qualification
- PhD in Life Sciences, Nanosciences, or related fields
- 0–2 years of relevant postdoctoral experience from a reputed institution
- Strong academic record with proven research publications
