About the Institute
Regional Centre for Biotechnology is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. The institute focuses on advanced biotechnology research, innovation, and translational science. Located at the NCR Biotech Science Cluster in Haryana, RCB is known for interdisciplinary research in life sciences and biotechnology. Available Position
- Position Title: Apprentice
- Trades: Biological Science
- No of Vacancies: 4
- Qualification: B.Tech/ B.Sc in Life Sciences/ Biotech/ Microbiology
- Duration: 01 Year
- Stipend: Rs. 13,500/- per month
Eligibility
- The maximum age for applicants is 28 years as of 19-05-2026, and the minimum age is 14 years.
- Candidates who have passed any of the above-mentioned examinations in the relevant trade, have registered themselves on the NATS portal within the last 3 years, and have not previously availed of Apprenticeship Training, are eligible to submit their applications.
- The selection will be based on merit, determined by the marks secured in the relevant degree or diploma course as specified for each apprentice requirement.
- Candidates should have completed qualifications from a recognized University/Institute.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred.
- Age relaxation will be provided as per the Government of India rules for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and Ex-servicemen.
