Job Description
- Job Title: Team Member – QC Micro

Job Summary
The Team Member – QC Micro role is part of the Quality Control team and focuses on microbiological analysis, water sample testing, environmental monitoring, GLP compliance, and maintenance of microbiological reference cultures.
The role also includes media preparation, growth promotion testing, autoclave operation, and maintenance of laboratory documentation.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Team Member – QC Micro will be responsible for:
- Sampling and analysis of water samples and preparation of water reports
- Maintaining microbiological reference cultures and related records
- Ensuring GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) maintenance and compliance
- Preparing trend analysis reports for water analysis and environmental monitoring
- Preparing laboratory reagents, disinfectants, indicators, and volumetric solutions
- Performing isolation and identification of reference cultures and environmental/water isolates
- Conducting media preparation and growth promotion tests
- Operating autoclaves and maintaining relevant documentation
- Maintaining biological indicator stock and conducting spore enumeration studies
Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology
- Minimum Work Experience” 2 to 5 years of experience in microbiological analysis
Experience in laboratory settings related to water quality is preferred

- Knowledge of GLP maintenance and compliance procedures
- Experience in trend analysis for water analysis and environmental monitoring
