Climate Action & Sustainability: Certifications in climate change management, sustainable development, or environmental policy
Economics: Working knowledge of Visualisation tools (Tableau & Power BI), advanced quantitative and econometrics skills, knowledge of Stata/R, Excel
Academic Administration: Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in learning and development, Certification in Instructional Design, LMS, ICT in Education
Graphic Designing: Certifications in E-Learning tools, Adobe Certified Professional, UX Design, LMS, Articulate or Captivate certifications, SCORM/xAPI training
Information Technology: Proficiency in Programming languages (Python, Java), knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, familiarity with web hosting, APIs, wireframing tools like Figma

Economics: Minimum 1 year in forecasting, financial modeling, preparation of impact balance sheets, exposure to domestic and international databases
Data Science: Minimum 1 year, preference for projects involving banking technologies
Cyber Security: Minimum 1 year in Information and Cyber security domain (preferably having worked in SOC)
Academic Administration: Minimum 1 year in training, instructional design, learning experience design & learning and development
Graphic Designing: Minimum 1 year in Graphic design, animation, e-learning tools, LMS, Adobe Creative Suite
PR, Outreach and Documentation: Minimum 1 year in developmental filmmaking/social work outreach

Salary/Stipend
Monthly Stipend: ₹70,000/- (All Inclusive)
Income tax or any other tax liable will be deducted at source as per applicable rules before effecting payment
The stipend is paid during the entire engagement period including training

Selection Process
Step 1: Application Screening
Applications received from interested eligible candidates shall be placed before the Screening Committee
Screening for interview based on matrix of identified indicators like academic performance, relevance of work experience, overall profile, statement of intent
Step 2: Interview
Shortlisted applications shall be placed before Young Professional Selection Committee (YPSC)
Final selection based on combined marks in Presentation and Interview conducted by YPSC
Interview will be conducted at respective NABARD Regional Offices of the States against which vacancies have been announced
Medical Fitness: Final appointment subject to being declared medically fit by Medical Officer(s) appointed/approved by the Bank
Document Verification: NABARD shall verify eligibility at stage of interview/joining
Final Decision: Final appointment based on decision of Selection Committee constituted for the purpose
Mere fulfilment of eligibility criteria shall not vest any right to candidate for being called for interviews
Decision of NABARD shall be final in all matters
Travel for Interview: Candidates may be reimbursed to and fro 2AC rail fare for shortest route for attending interviews
General Information/Instructions
Program Duration
Duration of engagement is 1 (one) year, extendable upto maximum three years
Extension depends on performance of Young Professional and organizational requirements
Legal Status
Young Professionals selected on short-term contract basis
Shall not be considered as “staff member” or “official” of NABARD
Engagement shall not establish relationship of employee and employer between NABARD and Young Professional
No right/claim for placement in NABARD by virtue of engagement under Young Professional Program
Appointed on full-time basis and shall not be permitted to take up any other assignment during engagement period
Leave Facility
Young Professionals entitled to maximum 30 days leave in a calendar year during engagement period
Leave provided on proportionate basis
Medical Facility
Medical facility available for self only at NABARD Dispensary
Office Facilities
Lounge facility, Tea/Coffee provided as per entitlement of officers of the bank
NABARD will provide Office Space, Internet Connectivity, and other support facilities
Conduct, Discipline and Confidentiality
Services governed by code of conduct as prescribed by NABARD
Internal data must be kept confidential
NABARD entitled to all intellectual property rights including patent, copyright, trademark developed during engagement
Must furnish undertaking for maintenance of secrecy before commencement
Subject to provisions of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013
Shall not use name, letterhead, emblem or official seal of NABARD without prior permission
Termination
NABARD can terminate contract at any time without prior notice and without providing any reason
In normal course, NABARD may terminate engagement by giving one month’s notice in advance
Young Professional can also seek termination by giving one month’s notice
If notice period not served, Young Professional required to pay sum equivalent to one month’s pay
Unauthorized absence of more than 8 days (not including public holidays and weekends) without valid explanation can lead to termination
Travel and Official Benefits
For official domestic travel, eligible for halting, boarding and incidental allowances same as Grade A officer of NABARD
In event of death, injury or illness during engagement, neither Young Professional nor dependents entitled to any compensation or employment
Young Professionals solely responsible for maintaining adequate insurance (life, health) at own expense
Mentorship and Review
Each Young Professional attached to mentor/supervising officer who acts as Project Guide
Mentor responsible for regularly overseeing progress
Assessment done jointly by Officer in Charge of Department/RO/TE and supervising officer
Letter of Experience/Recommendation given at end of engagement period
