New Odd Jobs in GTA Online: Everything known so far

New Odd Jobs in GTA Online are set to drop next week, and they’re shaping up to be a fun little change of pace from the usual grind. Rockstar teased earlier this month that three new jobs would arrive later, and now it looks like the wait ends with the next weekly update on January 29, 2026. Instead of another big heist-style setup, these jobs lean into classic GTA-style side work, letting you jump into simple roles for quick cash.

Here’s everything known so far about the new Odd Jobs in GTA Online.

Everything known so far about new Odd Jobs in GTA Online

Rockstar has already mentioned in its Newswire that three new Odd Jobs in GTA Online are coming later this month, and the expected date for them to go live is January 29, 2026, alongside the weekly update.

The three Odd Jobs in GTA Online confirmed so far are:

  • Firefighter work
  • Newspaper delivery route
  • Forklift warehouse job

Firefighter job in GTA Online

The firefighter work is the most active of the three Odd Jobs in GTA Online, and it sounds like it’s built similarly to dispatch-style work, where you take a service vehicle and respond to icons on the map.

To start the firefighter job, you must go to Los Santos County Fire Department Firestation 7. Once inside the fire department, there will be a blue circle in the corner. Walking into it lets players interact and begin the job. After starting, you are spawn on a fire truck, and the job flow is pretty straightforward. To accept the job:

  • Press B on PC
  • Press R3 on console

Once accepted, you can open the map and look for a fire icon. That icon marks the active incident, and they just need to drive the fire truck there. The hazards can vary depending on what spawns like sometimes it’s a small fire that’s quick to deal with, and other times it’s a bigger situation that takes longer.

The job can also include saving pets, like cats, which adds a nice little GTA twist to it. It is expected to pay around GTA$7,000 per job, and it can be repeated back-to-back.

The forklift job in Odd Jobs in GTA Online lets you do honest warehouse work for once, and it sounds like it’s meant to be a quick repeatable activity with a simple loop. To start it, you must go to Alpha Mail Couriers. At the entrance, there will be a blue circle. Walk into it, and the job begins.

Once inside, you can use a forklift to move goods and place them onto a conveyor belt. A few key details matter here:

  • You can carry up to three goods at a time, which speeds things up if they don’t mess up their placement.
  • After loading the conveyor belt, they need to interact with a button near the conveyor belt to complete the set.
  • The job allows up to five sets per run.

Each set pays around GTA$5,000, meaning a full run across five sets should add up nicely for what’s basically low-effort work. You can quit whenever you want by holding the interact button.

The newspaper delivery route is probably the most classic GTA of the three Odd Jobs in GTA Online, since it feels like a modern version of those old-school delivery missions. It also has a clear finish, the full route for the max money structure. To begin, head to Los Santos Meteor. There will be a blue circle at the entrance. Walking into it starts the job and takes the player inside.

After starting, you are given a delivery bike, and the mission behaves like a route-based delivery job. You can open the map and see multiple yellow circles, which mark each delivery location. The goal is to hit each drop-off point and throw the newspaper correctly.

When you reach a delivery point, you need to aim the newspaper and throw it at a specific spot, similar to how you would aim a weapon.

You can do up to 10 delivery jobs, and if you complete 10 out of 10 deliveries, you can earn up to GTA$30,000, including tips and bonus.
