Emoluments & Compensation For Scientist Job at VIT
The monthly stipend for JRF/GATE qualified candidates is competitive:
- Years 1 & 2: Rs. 56,000/- + 8% HRA per month.
- Year 3: Rs. 58,800/- + 8% HRA per month.
- Note: For non-JRF/GATE qualified candidates, the stipend will be paid as per the Institute’s norms.
Essential & Desirable Profile For Scientist Job at VIT
This Biotechnology job requires a strong foundation in biosciences and related engineering disciplines.
Essential Qualification (Meet one criterion)
- First class Post-Graduate (PG) Degrees, including integrated PG degrees in:
- Biotechnology/Biomedical Science/Zoology/Molecular Biology/Life Sciences or equivalent. OR
- M.Tech. / M.E. / M.S. in Biomedical engineering / Biotechnology or equivalent.
- OR Second class PG degree, including integrated PG degrees with Ph.D.
Desirable Experience (Skills Required)
- Hands-on experience in the area of tissue engineering / biomaterials / Molecular Biology will be preferred.
