**What is the NCS Portal?**
The National Career Service (NCS) portal is a digital platform launched by the Central Government. Its objective is to provide the country’s youth with all essential services related to employment, training, and career development-all in one place. The portal offers information regarding job opportunities in both the government and private sectors. Additionally, candidates can access information regarding online and offline job fairs, career counseling, and skill development initiatives.

**Model Career Centers and Participation of Private Companies**
In collaboration with various states and institutions, the government has also established Model Career Centers (MCCs). To date, 407 Model Career Centers have been approved. Furthermore, over the past year, the Ministry has entered into agreements with 10 major companies-including Amazon and Swiggy-resulting in the creation of approximately 500,000 new jobs.
