Description

The life sciences apprenticeship at CSIR-NIO is designed for Graduate (Non-Engineering Degree) holders. Selected candidates will engage in practical training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, gaining valuable experience in oceanography and related fields. This apprenticeship is an excellent stepping stone for individuals aspiring to enter the biotechnology jobs market.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any science discipline Botany / Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology / Biochemistry/ Environment Science/ Marine Science or any other equivalent degree in Science)
• Candidates must have passed their qualifying exam in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026.
• Must not have undergone or be currently undergoing apprenticeship training elsewhere.
• Age limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 26 years for Graduate/Degree Apprentices.

Stipend: Rs. 12,300/- pm
