Job Description

The project associate will work on a DST-SERB funded project titled “Elucidating the role of Cdk-related kinases (Crk7, Crk9, and Crk11) mediating transcript maturation in the asexual developmental stages of Toxoplasma gondii,” under the guidance of Principal Investigator Dr. Abhijit S. Deshmukh. Candidates with prior experience in molecular parasitology and molecular biology techniques, including gene cloning and protein purification, will be preferred for this life science research job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on Cdk-related kinases in Toxoplasma gondii.
  • Perform molecular biology techniques, including gene cloning and protein purification.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of experiments and results.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to the research team.
  • Assist in the training of junior researchers and students.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to project planning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and ethical standards in research.
