Haryana sets 2047 blueprint, focus on jobs, health and local governance | Gurgaon News

Gurgaon: Health, jobs and local self-governance — these are among six strategic themes based on which Haryana Vision Document 2047 is being prepared.“The next budget of Haryana will be aligned with these themes,” chief minister Nayab Singh Saini said on Tuesday, adding the state is laying focus on “outcomes” in developmental planning. The six strategic themes include finance and security; education, skill development and employability; health and nutrition; agriculture, food security and environmental conservation; infrastructure development; and projects based on regional development and local self-governance. Saini, who was in the city for a pre-budget discussion with different stakeholders at the Gurugram University auditorium, said the Haryana govt would play its role in realising the dream of Developed India 2047 by “focusing on six pillars, following meaningful brainstorming”. The CM said the govt is moving forward in the direction of “holistic development”. To prepare the Haryana Vision 2047 roadmap, the CM held detailed discussions with people from the industry, health, IT and education sectors for 2026–27.“The departmental plans needed to be linked with a clear vision and focus needed to be placed more on outcomes than activities, as bringing meaningful improvement in the lives of citizens has been the priority of the Haryana govt,” said the CM, who is holding meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday. Saini said that Haryana will prove to be the growth engine of Developed India 2047. “To ensure that Haryana’s contribution is useful in the national interest, work is being carried out in a planned manner. Haryana Vision Document 2047 was prepared through extensive consultation, in-depth study and participation of experts,” the CM said.
