Ranchi:The Jharkhand government is gearing up for a mega employment ceremony at the historic Morabadi Ground in Ranchi, where Chief Minister Hemant Soren will distribute 9,000 appointment letters to newly selected candidates on Friday.

The event is being organised to mark the first anniversary of the Hemant Soren government’s current term.

A massive tent structure with a seating capacity for 10,000 attendees has been erected, and elaborate arrangements have been made to welcome beneficiaries from across the state.

The government views this as a major milestone in its promise of expanding employment opportunities and accelerating recruitment processes that were stuck for years.

Teachers to Receive the Highest Number of Appointments

According to official figures, the largest group of beneficiaries will be assistant teachers, reflecting the government’s push to strengthen primary and middle school education in Jharkhand.

Education remains a priority sector, with more than 8,000 teachers slated to receive appointment letters.

The distribution list also includes appointments in various other departments.

Officials said that appointment letters will be handed out strictly on the basis of verified merit lists, ensuring transparency in the recruitment process.
