N-able expands India workforce by 50% with new GCC in Bengaluru, TechGig
N-able Inc, a US-based cybersecurity firm, has inaugurated a Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru, with plans to expand its Indian workforce by at least 50% by the end of 2026. The company, which provides IT management, cybersecurity, and data protection software to over 500,000 organizations worldwide, currently employs more than 100 people at this center. CEO John Pagliuca emphasized that the expansion is driven by the need for talent rather than cost reduction, as the competition for AI and cybersecurity professionals in Bengaluru intensifies.
The GCC’s establishment aligns with the broader growth of India’s GCC ecosystem, which is projected to reach 2.36 million employees by 2026, according to a report by industry body Nasscom and consultancy Zinnov. Pagliuca noted that skills in AI engineering, applied machine learning, cloud security, and threat research are particularly challenging to source. To attract top talent, N-able is offering competitive packages and opportunities for local career development while contributing to global innovation.
As cybercriminals increasingly leverage generative AI for sophisticated attacks, the Bengaluru team will focus on developing defensive AI capabilities, including automated threat detection and response. However, N-able did not disclose its current market penetration among Indian small and medium-sized businesses or specific revenue targets for the region.
