Project Information:
- Title of the Research Project:
“Rapid Development and Preclinical Evaluation of a Peptide-Infused 3D-Printed Bioadaptive Mouthpiece for Oral Mucositis in Cancer Patients Undergoing Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy: Accelerating Bench-to-Bedside Translation”
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Jiban Jyoti Panda, Scientist E (Associate Professor)
- Name of the position available: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
- Number of positions available: 1
- Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree, including the integrated PG degree in life Sciences / Biomedical Sciences/ Chemistry/ Physics/biomedical engineering or a relevant field.
- Desirable Experience: In-vitro and In-Vivo cell and animal studies; Drug Delivery, Basic molecular-biology techniques; Peptide synthesis; Bio-sensing, Biomaterials & 3D Printing Skills. PhD degree in the relevant disciplines.
- Age limit: Must not be over 35 years as on 20/04/2026, which is relaxable for certain reserved categories as per the rules of the Government of India.
- Fellowship: Rs. 56,000/- p.m. + 20% HRA
- Last date of receipt of application: 20/04/2026
- Duration: Initially, for one year, and may be extended based on the performance of the candidate and the availability of funds.
General Terms and Conditions:
- The position is purely temporary and on a contractual basis and renewable each year, subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three years/till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
- The position is co-terminus with the project.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets, and other testimonials must be presented along with the self-attested photocopies of these documents at the time of the interview (when the interview is conducted in person).
