A hilarious (and painfully relatable) reddit post has gone viral for its brutally honest job post. The post reads, “You have heard WFO, you have heard WFH, now get ready for…” appears to be a job posting on Glassdoor which mentions, ‘Work Location: On the road’ tag — complete with a base pay of Rs 18L – Rs 22L per year.
The listing, which appears to be for a Product Design Engineer role, promises paid parental leaves, employee engagement activities, CSR, and a “work-life balance friendly environment”… while openly admitting you’ll be spending your 9-to-5 (and probably beyond) stuck in traffic.
The post quickly sparked a wave of reactions on Reddit, with users chiming in to share their own experiences. One comment, in particular, struck a chord and summed up the sentiment perfectly, “Honestly it’s possible in Bangalore traffic. Take a cab, sit in the back seat, start work at 9, and when you reach office have lunch then actually start working.”
