‘Kya Bolti Public’: CJP to launch nationwide campaign for education & jobs in Sept | Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar News
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Thursday said the organisation would launch a nationwide outreach campaign, “Kya Bolti Public”, in Sept and reiterated that CJP would remain a public pressure group rather than enter electoral politics.

Addressing reporters after CJP’s two-day core committee meeting in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Dipke said the campaign would focus on education, unemployment and governance by engaging directly with citizens across the country. He said CJP’s ideology was rooted in Constitution and drew inspiration from Dr BR Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, with a commitment to secularism, democracy and social justice.

Dipke alleged that mainstream political parties had failed to connect with young Indians despite people below 35 years forming the country’s majority population.Calling the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan from the post of Union education minister a “historic victory” for the youth, Dipke said it demonstrated the growing power of public opinion and showed that sustained pressure could compel accountability. “The biggest achievement is that people have overcome the fear of questioning govt,” he said.

Positioning education as CJP’s primary concern, Dipke alleged that it had become an “unaffordable business”. He claimed over 94,000 govt schools had shut down over the past decade and demanded regulation of private school fees, along with stronger investment in public education.On unemployment, he said a lack of opportunities was forcing many qualified young people into delivery and gig-economy jobs.Dipke also questioned the functioning of several national institutions, alleging misuse of agencies like ED and CBI against political opponents, delays in the judicial system and inadequate accountability within the Election Commission.Alleged internal rift & protest mar core committee meetThe meeting was, however, clouded by reports of differences between Dipke and core committee member Vaishnavi Gaur, and a protest outside his residence by two Gujarat youth activists alleging favouritism in the organisation’s newly formed leadership structure.

Sources within CJP told TOI that Gaur left for Delhi on Thursday morning after an alleged heated argument with Dipke before the meeting ended. Gaur denied any disagreement, saying she returned due to a family emergency. Dipke also said her departure was because of a family emergency.

Gujarat-based youth activists Manish Brahmbhatt and Rahul Pandey protested outside Dipke’s home, alleging the core committee favoured those close to the leadership while sidelining grassroots workers linked to the Jantar Mantar movement. They said nearly 450 coordinators who worked during the agitation were denied representation in the new structure and threatened an indefinite protest until their demands were met.

Police took both the protesters into preventive custody before releasing them a few hours later.
