The Special Operations Group (SOG) in Rajasthan has registered an FIR against 38 police constables for getting government jobs using fake documents and dummy candidates. One other person is also named in the case.
The investigation began after officials noticed that signatures of some constables did not match during promotion checks. This raised doubts about whether the person who took the exam and the current constable were the same. On Saturday, the SOG filed two FIRs and started a detailed probe.
Authorities are now closely examining cases of jobs obtained through fake educational certificates. Following instructions from the Additional Director General of the Police Recruitment and Promotion Board in Jaipur, recruitments in Jalore district over the past five years are being reviewed. Documents of 11 candidates from 2018 and 2021 recruitments were also found suspicious.
A report by a committee formed by the District SP found mismatched signatures between the educational certificates submitted during recruitment and the current service records. Based on this, the SOG has launched a full investigation.
Documents of these 38 personnel were found suspicious In the first report, a case has been registered against Pradeep Kumar Bishnoi son of Kaluram, resident of Jalore, Anil Kumar Bishnoi son of Gangaram, Sanjay Kumar Bishnoi son of Bhagwanram, Dhanwanti Meena daughter of Shivlal, Priyanka Jat daughter of Papuram, Lalita Meena daughter of Goravdhan Meena, Nirma Bishnoi daughter of Jagdish, Sapna Sharma daughter of Sudama Sharma, Sandeep Kumar Meena son of Balveersingh, Pankaj Kumar Dholi son of Surendra Kumar, Sohanlal Bishnoi son of Bhagirath Ram, and an unknown person.
In the second report, a case has been registered against Jaisaram son of Hukmaram Jat, Dinesh Kumar son of Bhikaram Bishnoi, Arjun Kumar son of Hataram Kalbi, Ghevar Chand son of Natharam Bishnoi, Yashwant Singh son of Harisingh Rajpurohit, Dinesh Kumar son of Khagararam Kalbi, Badaram son of Hardanram, Gopi Lal Bishnoi son of Laduram, Harish Kumar son of Ganpat Lal Rajpurohit, Narpat Singh Rajpurohit son of Babusingh, Dinesh Kumar son of Rajuram Jat, Naparam Meghwal son of Kaluram, Suresh Kumar Bishnoi son of Sohanlal, Chatararam Dewasi son of Raymalram, Suresh Kumar Bishnoi son of Babulal, Bhanaram Kalambi son of Somaram, Ramesh Kumar Kalbi son of Bhooraram, Sushila Kumari Bishnoi daughter of Kishanlal, Shantilal son of Khasaram Meghwal, Devisingh Meena son of Kallaram, Jitendra Kumar Meena son of Jagdish Prasad, Rakesh Kumar Jat son of Mohanlal, Mukesh Kumar son of Narayan Singh Jat, Doograram Jat son of Bharmalram, Revatiraman Meena daughter of Ramsilal, and Khushiram Meena son of Jai Bhagwan. The investigation of the case has been initiated by the Additional Superintendent of Police SOG, Jaipur.
